This marks the beginning of my personal writing site, TomLWaters.com. With the encouragement of my wife Karen, I have dedicated myself to pursuing my fiction writing with new seriousness. I've loved fantasy and science fiction since childhood, and have written it on and off through the years. I have not, however, given it the persistence and clarity of intention needed to bring it to fruition.

This website is an expression of that intention. It begins, now, as a mostly personal endeavor, a way for me to track my own progress and focus my energies. Eventually, it will become a more public place, my web presence as a writer.
