The Edge of the World
"The Edge of the World" is set in the northwest of my fantasy world of Greenhall; it has a strong Germanic or Nordic feel. It deals with the notion of boundaries to our knowledge and experience, and introduces the giantkin race. This was an idea I had been working with for a year or so, and reworked and polished over the winter holidays. I submitted it to Realms of Fantasy on December 29. Approx. length: 3,100 words.
I'll update this post with comments as I learn of the story's adventures in slush-pile land.
