The Warlord's Spirit
This is a tale set in the Time of Legends in my Greenhall world. A bronze-age warlord employs a spirit to mentor him in the finer points of esoteric wisdom. Think Hittites and Zen Buddhists. This is something a little different for me: not exactly humor, but there is an air of irony throughout that I hope is entertaining. This is also the tightest, most readable piece I've produced to date.
